PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Brian Boucher made 34 saves Saturday and the Philadelphia Flyers handed New Jersey its 15th loss in 17 games with a 2-1 victory.

Boucher withstood a determined New Jersey attack and stonewalled the Devils on four power plays in raising his record to 10-4 for the season.

Danny Briere and James van Riemsdyk tallied for the Flyers, who won both ends of a home-and-home series with the Devils and took their fourth win in five games overall.

Andy Greene got New Jersey's only goal and Martin Brodeur turned aside all 19 shots he faced after starting goalie Johan Hedberg was yanked in the first period.

The Devils fell to 10-29-2 -- their worst record at the midway point of a season since going 8-30-2 in 1983-84.
