NBA: Charlotte 104, Washington 89

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Stephen Jackson got hot in the second half Saturday, firing in 18 points to lift Charlotte to a 104-89 victory over Washington.

Jackson finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds and five assists one game after sitting out the Bobcats' overtime win over Minnesota.


D.J. Augustin added 20 points and nine assists, and Gerald Henderson had 19 points and nine boards for Charlotte.

The loss kept the Wizards winless in 18 road games this season.

Washington was led by John Wall's 16 points and 11 assists.
