COL BKB: Brigham Young 76, Air Force 66

PROVO, Utah, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Jimmer Fredette scored 22 points, including a trio of 3-pointers Saturday, in No. 14 Brigham Young's 76-66 victory over Air Force.

Noah Hartsock posted 12 points and 11 rebounds and Brandon Davies chipped in with 10 points and six boards for the Cougars (16-1, 2-0 MWC).

After spotting Air Force a 5-0 lead, Jackson Emery made 3-pointer off a Hartsock feed to put the Cougars ahead for good at 12-10. BYU went on to post a 37-30 halftime lead and were never headed.

The Falcons (10-5, 1-1) were led by Michael Lyons with 14 points and Mike Fitzgerald added 13 in the loss.
