INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Manu Ginobili's two free throws put San Antonio in front with 15.7 seconds remaining Friday, finishing a rally that gave the Spurs a 90-87 win over Indiana.
The Pacers led by as many as 15 points in the third period before Ginobili ignited San Antonio's comeback. He scored 25 points to help the Spurs end a two-game skid, its first of the season.
After Ginobili gave San Antonio a one-point lead, Roy Hibbert missed a jumper for Indiana and Tony Parker converted two more free throws for the Spurs. James Posey missed a 3-point attempt at the buzzer that would have forced overtime.
George Hill added 16 points for San Antonio and Tim Duncan had 15 points to go with 15 rebounds. It was the final outing in a three-game road trip that had seen the Spurs fall in Boston and New York.
San Antonio overcame a big game from Tyler Hansbrough, who scored 23 points and had 12 rebounds, both a career high. Indiana has dropped five out of six.
