MILWAUKEE, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Earl Boykins fired in a season-best 26 points Saturday, sparking Milwaukee's 99-87 win over Dallas.
John Salmons contributed 21 points, and Ersan Ilyasova provided a double-double with 16 points and a career-high 17 rebounds for the Bucks, who ended a two-game skid.
The Mavericks slid to a third straight loss despite 29 points from Jose Barea, a career high.
Dallas's Caron Butler went out with a knee injury in the first quarter, leaving the Mavericks thin at forward with Dirk Nowitzki (sprained right knee) and Shawn Marion (bruised thigh) already out of action.
Bucks forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute left the game with a mild concussion.
