TORONTO, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Kristian Huselius scored twice Thursday and Steve Mason was perfect over the final two periods in bringing the Columbus Blue Jackets a 3-2 victory over Toronto.
The Blue Jackets have won back-to-back games for the first time since late November.
Mason allowed first-period goals to Nikolai Kulemin and Tyler Bozak, giving the Maple Leafs a 2-1 lead heading into the second period.
Huselius produced the first-period goal for Columbus and he tied it 6:47 into the second with a backhander that eluded Jonas Gustavsson. The game-winning goal came from R.J. Umberger on the power play 3:34 into the third.
Mason made 22 saves to get the win. Gustavsson stopped 29-of-32 shots.
Columbus won on the road for the first time in eight tries.
