COL BKB: Wisconsin 68, Minnesota 60

MADISON, Wis., Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Jordan Taylor struck for 22 points and hit a 3-point play with just over 1 minute remaining Tuesday, helping No. 24 Wisconsin top No. 13 Minnesota 68-60.

Jon Leuer connected for 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Wisconsin (11-2, 1-0 Big Ten), in the Big 10 Conference opener for both teams.

Keaton Nankivil added 11 points as the Badgers won their seventh straight game.

The Golden Gophers (11-2, 0-1) got 14 points each from Devoe Joseph and Ralph Sampson III.

Blake Hoffarber scored 12 points and Trevor Mbakwe had 11 points and 11 rebounds for Minnesota.
