NHL: Chicago 4, Columbus 1

CHICAGO, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Patrick Sharp scored twice and Marian Hossa added two assists Sunday in the Chicago Blackhawks' 4-1 victory over Columbus.

Sharp's 19th goal of the season came on a power-play early in the third period to make it 2-0 Blackhawks. His second marker arrived only 37 seconds after Dave Bolland had made it 3-0 midway through the frame on a power play.

Hossa returned from the injured reserve list to assist on Sharp's first goal and on a first-period tally by Tomas Kopecky.

Marty Turco turned aside 26-of-27 shots for the Blackhawks, who wrapped up a five-game homestand with their fourth straight win.

Derick Brassard got the Blue Jackets' only goal and Mathieu Garon stopped 21 shots in the loss.
