NBA: Los Angeles Clippers 108, Phoenix 103

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Blake Griffin scored 28 points and grabbed 12 rebounds Sunday, sparking the Los Angeles Clippers to a 108-103 decision over Phoenix.

Eric Gordon added 24 points and DeAndre Jordon hauled down 11 boards for the Clippers, who nearly saw a late 10-point lead evaporate but hung on to break a nine-game losing streak against the Suns.

Baron Davis chipped in with 15 points and nine assists and Randy Foye came off the bench to add 10 points, including a crucial pair of free throws in the final minute, for the victors.

The Suns cut the Clippers' lead to one point, 104-103, on a Mickael Pietrus 3-pointer with 22 seconds remaining but could get no closer.

Pietrus scored 25 points off the bench and Steve Nash added 21 more and 15 assists for Phoenix, which lost for the seventh time in nine games.
