NBA: Miami 95, Phoenix 83

PHOENIX, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- LeBron James was at his dominant best Thursday, scoring 36 points and leading the Miami Heat to a 95-83 victory over Phoenix.

The Heat bounced back from its first loss in 13 games, a setback to Dallas Monday, and warmed up for their nationally-televised Christmas Day meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers.

James made 13-of-22 shots from the field and all eight his attempts from the foul line.

Miami outscored the Suns by 16 points during the middle two periods to take control and hand Phoenix its second straight loss. Chris Bosh added 23 for Miami.

Jared Dudley scored 33 points for Phoenix, which shot just 40 percent from the field.
