NBA: Chicago 87, Washington 80

WASHINGTON, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Carlos Boozer finished off a 30-point effort with a key basket in the final minute Wednesday, lifting the Chicago Bulls to an 87-80 victory over Washington.

The Bulls have won two in a row and nine out of 10.

Boozer scored on a layup with 35 seconds to play, giving the Bulls a six-point advantage and all but clinching the game. He made 11-of-18 shots from the field.

Derrick Rose had 25 points for the Bulls, who held Washington to 37 percent shooting from the field.

Washington has dropped six out of eight. Nick Young led the Wizards with 22 points and Kirk Hinrich had 19.
