BOSTON, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Ray Allen hit two free throws with 6 seconds remaining Wednesday, wrapping up the Boston Celtics' 84-80 victory over Philadelphia.
The Celtics won their 14th straight game, the longest winning streak of the season in the NBA.
Philadelphia had a four-point lead early in the fourth quarter but Boston limited the 76ers to 19 points over the final 12 minutes and extended a streak of success that began Nov. 22.
Shaquille O'Neal scored 13 points to go with nine rebounds for the Celtics. Kevin Garnett added 12 points and Paul Pierce had 11.
Philadelphia was led by Elton Brand with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Jrue Holiday had 15 points for the 76ers.
