GAINESVILLE, Fla., Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Erving Walker scored 20 points for No. 19 Florida Wednesday with the Gators pulling away in the second half to fight off Radford 66-55.
The Gators, who suffered an unexpected overtime loss to Jacksonville Monday, held only a 31-24 at the break before opening as much as an 18-point advantage during the second period.

Florida shot just 40 percent from the field and allowed Radford to shoot 50 percent, but the Gators had a 35-26 rebounding edge and forced 23 turnovers.
Kenny Boynton added 11 points for Florida (9-3). The Highlanders (2-9) were paced by 15 points from Jonathan Edwards. Radford has dropped nine in a row.
