NBA: New Jersey 89, Atlanta 82

NEWARK, N.J., Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Devin Harris popped in 22 points, handed out eight assists and hauled down six rebounds Sunday, pacing the New Jersey Nets to an 89-82 win over Atlanta.

Brook Lopez chipped in with 16 points and newly acquired Sasha Vujacic scored 10 for the Nets, who won for only the second time in 11 games.

Stephen Graham also contributed 10 points for the victors.

Troy Murphy's 2-foot jumper with 10:15 remaining put the Nets ahead to stay at 66-64 and sparked a 10-4 run, capped by a Vujacic 3-pointer off a Travis Outlaw feed with 6:28 left.

Atlanta, which lost for the third time in four games, was led by Mike Bibby with 19 points, and by Josh Smith and Al Horford, who each contributed 15 points and 10 boards.
