COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Jon Diebler put on a 3-point shooting show Wednesday that easily carried No. 2 Ohio State to an 83-55 victory over Florida Gulf Coast.
Diebler made his first seven attempts from 3-point range and was eventually 9-of-14 from beyond the arc. He scored 29 points, having averaged 11 points a game coming into the contest.

The Buckeyes opened the game on an 18-3 run and took a 42-16 lead at halftime. They improved to 9-0 for the season.
William Buford added 17 points for Ohio State and Jared Sullinger had 11.
Florida Gulf Coast (2-6) made one less 3-point attempt as a team than Diebler had by himself. Chase Fieler led the Eagles with 12 points.
