CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Michael Turner scored three TDs, finishing with 112 yards on 28 carries Sunday in the Atlanta Falcons' 31-10 win over Carolina.
Matt Ryan connected on 20-of-34 pass attempts for 227 yards with one touchdown for the Falcons (11-2), who posted their seventh straight win.

The Falcons came into the game with a one-game lead over New Orleans in the NFC South and were seeking to secure a playoff spot with a Philadelphia loss.
The lowly Panthers (1-12) tumbled again despite 133 yards from 18 carries from Jonathan Stewart.
Jimmy Clausen went 14-of-24 passing for 107 yards in Carolina's loss.
