NEW YORK, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- An NFL probe into "sexting" allegations against Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre has been concluded, a league official confirmed Wednesday.

NFL Senior Vice President Greg Aiello told the SportsBusiness Journal investigators have wrapped up their look into allegations by former New York Jets sideline host Jenn Sterger that Favre sent her lewd cellphone photos and voice mails two years ago.

The results of the investigation have been sent to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's office for review and possible action, Aiello said.

"We have not reached a conclusion," he told the publication. "When we do, we will communicate it to the appropriate parties."

Sterger's attorney, Joseph Conway, said his client would be "extremely disappointed" if Favre isn't disciplined. Conway said the evidence showed the signal-caller's alleged behavior wasn't an isolated incident.

"If anyone portrays this as a one-time incident, that would be completely incorrect," Conway told the SportsBusiness Journal. "This is a pattern of behavior on his part that took place over a very long period of time."
