COL BKB: Pittsburgh 70, Delaware State 42

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- A dunk by Dante Taylor started No. 3 Pittsburgh on a 13-point run in the first half Wednesday and sent the Panthers coasting to a 70-42 win over Delaware State.

Pittsburgh remained unbeaten at 10-0, setting up an anticipated encounter Saturday with No. 13 Tennessee.

The contest was tied 7-7 when the Panthers went on their run. They held Delaware State scoreless for more than 4 minutes en route to a 34-19 halftime lead.

Taylor led the Panthers with 14 points off the bench, hitting 6-of-7 from the field. J.J. Moore had 10. Ashton Gibbs, who leads Pittsburgh in scoring for the season with 18 points a game, had only nine while sitting out most of the second half.

Jordan Lawson had 11 points to pace Delaware State (4-4).
