NBA: LA Clippers 98, Sacramento 91

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Eric Gordon scored 29 points -- 13 in the fourth quarter, when his 3-pointer broke a 91-91 tie -- and the Los Angeles Clippers beat Sacramento 98-91.

The Clippers, who led by 16 after three periods, allowed the Kings to claw back and go up 91-87 lead with 2 1/2 minutes to play -- but LA finished the game with an 11-0 run to win for just the second time in its last six games, while handing the Kings their eighth straight loss.

Blake Griffin finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Clippers.

Omri Casspi led Sacramento with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Tyreke Evans scored 16, while DeMarcus Cousins and Carl Landry each scored 15 for the Kings.
