Colts' Powers goes on IR

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Indianapolis Colts starting cornerback Jerraud Powers went on injured reserve with an arm injury, the team said Tuesday.

Powers, 23, had two interceptions, a team-high nine passes defensed and 53 tackles in 10 games this season.

Indianapolis also announced they signed running back Dominic Rhodes, who played seven seasons (2001-06 and 2008) for the Colts. He played for Florida in the UFL this past season.

Rhodes has 3,114 yards and 26 touchdowns rushing, and 1,021 yards with four scores passing in 96 (33 starts) games over eight NFL seasons.
