NHL: Pittsburgh 2, New Jersey 1

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Sidney Crosby's second-period goal proved to be decisive Monday in the Pittsburgh Penguins' 10th straight win, a 2-1 decision over New Jersey.

Crosby was lurking on the right side of the Devils' net when a shot from the point deflected off the stick of New Jersey defenseman Colin White right to him, and he batted the puck into an open net for the go-ahead tally.

Crosby added an assist and Chris Kunitz provided the other goal for the Penguins, whose last loss came Nov. 15 against the New York Rangers.

Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 27 shots in recording his 12th victory of the season.

The Devils, who lost for the fourth time in five games, got their only goal from Brian Rolston and Johan Hedberg turned aside 32 shots in a losing cause.
