WASHINGTON, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Erving Walker hit four 3-pointers en route to 16 points Sunday, powering No. 16 Florida to a 67-48 victory over American University.
Chandler Parsons chipped in 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Gators (6-2).

Florida allowed American to pull within 50-42 with just over 8 minutes on the clock, but Parsons responded by pulling down an offensive rebound, drawing a foul and hitting the first of two free throws.
He missed the second shot but grabbed his own rebound and put it back in for a 2-pointer, giving Florida a double-digit lead again.
Alex Tyus scored 14 points and Vernon Macklin added 12 more for the victors.
Troy Brewer led the Eagles (5-3) with 17 points.
