NBA: Philadelphia 109, Charlotte 91

PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Jodie Meeks made seven 3-pointers Saturday in pushing Philadelphia to a 109-91 victory over Charlotte.

The 76ers won for just the sixth time this season, shooting 51 percent from the field and making 11-of-21 from beyond the 3-point arc. Meeks was 7-of-10.

Meeks finished with 26 points and Thaddeus Young had 20 for the 76ers. Both Andre Iguodala and Jrue Holiday had 15.

Philadelphia owned an 11-point lead at halftime and the Bobcats did not threaten over the final two periods.

Boris Diaw had 19 to pace Charlotte, which had been trying for its first two-game winning streak of the season.
