OAKLAND, Calif., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Jason Richardson and Grant Hill combined to make 19-of-26 shots Thursday and lead the Phoenix Suns to a 107-101 victory over Golden State.

The Suns built a 16-point lead midway through the final period and won for only the third time in eight games.

Richardson scored 25 points and Hill had 24 as part of a 54 percent shooting effort by the Suns. Phoenix made 21-of-22 from the foul line.

Phoenix opened the fourth period on a 20-7 run to boost a lead that had been only three points at the start of the quarter.

Monta Ellis led the Warriors with 38 points and David Lee had 25.

The Phoenix bench players outscored their Golden State counterparts 33-15.
