NHL: N.Y. Rangers 3, Florida 0

SUNRISE, Fla., Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Henrik Lundqvist shook off his recent struggles to make 40 saves Friday for his third shutout this season, lifting the New York Rangers past Florida 3-0.

Lundqvist had lost his previous three starts while allowing a total of 11 goals.

His Florida counterpart, Scott Clemmensen, gave up three goals on only 19 shots in what was the third straight loss for the Panthers.

Derek Stepan scored midway through the first period and Lundqvist protected the 1-0 lead until Ryan Callahan produced a power-play goal 5:24 into the third. Brandon Prust scored shorthanded with 5:35 to play, his first of the season. It the seventh goal of Prust's four-year career.
