NHL: Atlanta 3, Montreal 0

ATLANTA, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Ondrej Pavelec picked up his second shutout this season by making 25 saves Friday, backstopping Atlanta's 3-0 win over Montreal.

The Thrashers have won four in a row, their longest streak of the season. Pavelec, who came into the game with a 1.98 goals-against average, has four shutouts in his four-year career.

Rich Peverley scored the first and last Atlanta goals, breaking a scoreless tie with 19 seconds left in the first period. He added a power-play goal with 4:25 to go in the second.

Tobias Enstrom had the other Atlanta goal midway through the second period.

Alex Auld stopped 44 shots to take the loss. Carey Price had the night off after starting 12 straight games in goal.
