COL BKB: Villanova 82, UCLA 70

VILLANOVA, Pa., Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Villanova's Corey Fisher scored 26 points Wednesday and the No. 7 Wildcats, despite shooting just 40 percent from the field, defeated UCLA 82-70.

The Wildcats reached the title game of the NIT Season Tip-Off. They will face No. 24 Tennessee in the championship game Friday.

Villanova took a 44-29 halftime lead and its advantage dwindled to no less than six points during the second period.

Mouphtanou Yarou had 13 points and a career-high 16 rebounds for the Wildcats, who improved to 5-0.

UCLA (3-1) was led by 13 points from Malcolm Lee. The Bruins will play Virginia Commonwealth Friday in the consolation game.
