NHL: Dallas 2, Ottawa 1

OTTAWA, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Andrew Raycroft made 18 saves in only his fourth appearance of the season Wednesday, helping boost Dallas to a 2-1 victory over Ottawa.

Brenden Morrow scored the game-winning goal 1:13 into the third period, allowing the Stars to end a two-game losing streak. Dallas had lost its previous four road games.

Trevor Daley gave Dallas the lead 6:14 into the second period and Ryan Shannon tied it with 3:31 to go in the stanza. Raycroft stopped all five shots he saw in the final period.

Pascal Leclaire made 24 saves in the loss, which was the fourth for the Senators in five games.
