COL BKB: Kentucky 74, Washington 67

LAHANIA, Hawaii, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Nineteenth-ranked Kentucky moved into the finals of the Maui Invitational Tuesday with a 74-67 win over No. 11 Washington.

Brandon Knight scored a game-high 24 points and fellow freshman Terrence Jones had 16 to pace the Wildcats (4-0), who meet Connecticut Wednesday in the finals of the Hawaii tournament.

Jones also had 17 rebounds for Kentucky and hit 8-of-14 free throws to pad his 4-of-13 field goal shooting. Josh Harrellson had 14 boards and nine points.

Kentucky out-rebounded the Huskies (3-1) 49-39.

Isaiah Thomas scored 13 point and Justin Holiday added 11 for Washington, who had scored more than 100 points in two of their previous three games.
