SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- The San Francisco Giants have re-signed first baseman-outfielder Aubrey Huff, their most productive offensive player, the team announced Tuesday.

The Giants said Huff, who played a key role in the team's 2010 post-season and World Series victories, signed a two-year contract with a club option for another year.

General Manager Brian Sabean said the 11-year veteran was signed for his leadership as well as his abilities in the field.

"He was an integral part in the team's success last season, not only with his outstanding play in the field, but also providing a great clubhouse presence," he said.

Huff hit .290 with 26 home runs and 86 RBI and led the Giants in batting average, homers, RBI, hits, walks, on-base percentage and slugging percentage.

He smacked a key two-run homer in the Giants' Game 4 win over Texas in the World Series as well as a game-tying single in Game 3 of the Division Series against the Braves.
