NHL: Tampa Bay 3, Boston 1

TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Steven Stamkos got his 20th goal of the season Monday, leading the Tampa bay Lightning to a 3-1 victory over Boston.

Stamkos became the first in the NHL to reach the 20-goal plateau and has five more tallies than his nearest competitors. His latest score was part of a three-goal, second-period outburst for Tampa Bay, which posted a season-high fourth straight win.

Teddy Purcell and Dana Tyrell also lit the lamp and Mike Smith turned aside 26 shots for the victors.

The Bruins got their lone goal from Michael Ryder while dropping their second straight game.

Tuukka Rask went 33-of-36 in net for Boston.
