COL BKB: Florida 61, Morehead State 55

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Erving Walker scored 16 points and Chandler Parsons added 13 more Sunday in No. 10 Florida's 61-55 victory over Morehead State.

Walker added seven assists and Parsons grabbed 11 rebounds for Florida (3-1), which won its second straight game after jumping off to an early lead and posting a 34-17 halftime advantage.

Kenny Boynton, who added 10 points in the victory, blunted a Morehead State comeback try when he hit a 3-pointer with 5 1/2 minutes left, restoring a double-digit lead for Gators at 55-45.

Morehead State (2-2) got a big game from Kenneth Faried, who poured in 20 points and yanked down 18 rebounds in the loss.
