MONTREAL, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Carey Price collected his fourth shutout of the season Saturday, making 30 saves in the Montreal Canadiens' 2-0 whitewash of Toronto.
Price blanked the Maple Leafs on three power plays and was especially sharp in the second period, when he turned aside 13 shots to preserve a one-goal lead.
Jeff Halpern tallied a shorthanded goal and Michael Cammalleri also scored for the Habs, who won for the fourth time in five games.
The Leafs saw their modest two-game winning streak snapped in the setback, during which Jonas Gustavsson made 36 saves.
Both teams paid tribute before the game to Pat Burns, who died of cancer Friday. Burns, in his first year as an NHL coach, guided the Habs to the 1989 Stanley Cup Finals and also coached the Maple Leafs during his career.
