NBA: Sacramento 86, New Jersey 81

SACRAMENTO, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- A 3-point shot by Beno Udrih with 3 seconds to go Friday brought an end to the Sacramento Kings' six-game losing streak with an 86-81 win over New Jersey.

The teams had been separated by no more than four points throughout the final period and New Jersey put itself in position to pull out a victory when Travis Outlaw's jumper brought the Nets within two with 27 seconds to play.

Rather than quickly commit a foul, New Jersey chose to play defense throughout the length of the 24-second clock, but Udrih spoiled that strategy by connecting on the 3-pointer that ensured a Sacramento victory.

The Kings won three of their first four games this season before enduring the losing skid.

Tyreke Evans scored 20 for Sacramento and Carl Landry had 15. New Jersey, which has dropped two in a row, was led by Kris Humphries with 18.
