Missouri quarterback Jordan Jefferson connected on 13-of-17 passes for 254 yards and one touchdown. He also scored another TD on the ground for the victors.

Things looked good for Ole Miss (4-7, 1-6) with just under 5 minutes left when Jeremiah Masoli hit Markeith Summers on a 65-yard touchdown pass for a 36-35 lead.

But Mississippi couldn't stop LSU from regaining the lead for good on a subsequent eight-play, 51-yard scoring drive.
