NBA: New Orleans 108, Cleveland 101

NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- David West finished with 34 points and 11 rebounds Friday and the New Orleans Hornets beat Cleveland 108-101 despite letting a 19-point lead slip away.

Chris Paul had 15 points, 10 assists and six steals, and Marco Belinelli had 20 points and five assists for New Orleans, which ran its NBA-best record to 10-1.

The Hornets led by 19 at one point but the Cavaliers chipped away and pulled with three during the fourth quarter before falling for the first time in their last four games.

Antawn Jamison led Cleveland with 20 points and 11 rebounds -- and joined Scottie Pippen and Dirk Nowitzki as the only players in NBA history with 7,000 rebounds, 900 three-pointers and 17,000 total points.
