COL BKB: Kansas 93, North Texas 60

LAWRENCE, Kan., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Marcus Morris scored 20 points Friday and No. 6 Kansas put on a rush to start the second half in a 93-60 victory over North Texas.

Kansas (3-0) equaled a school record with its 62nd consecutive victory at Allen Fieldhouse.

Markieff Morris, twin brother of Marcus, added 13 points and eight rebounds while Elijah Johnson was scoring 11 off the bench.

North Texas (2-1), which owns a win over Texas Tech this season, was led by 14 points from Tristan Thompson.

The Mean Green shot 37 percent from the floor in the first half, but still trailed by only nine at the break. Kansas then went on a 20-2 run to open the second period and eventually led by as many as 37.

Kansas also won 62 in a row at home from 1994-98.
