NBA: Golden State 101, Detroit 97

OAKLAND, Calif., Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry combined for 48 points Monday and the Golden State Warriors bested Detroit 101-97.

Ellis pumped in 27 points and Curry added 21, teaming up to go 16-for-32 from the field for the Warriors, who held on down the stretch after seeing their 32-point lead shrink to two.

Dorell Wright contributed 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists to go along with Reggie Williams' 14 points in Golden State's win, its fifth straight at home.

Six Pistons reached double figures in scoring, including Charlie Villanueva with 18 points and Tayshaun Prince with 15.
