COL BKB: Georgetown 69, Tulane 53

WASHINGTON, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Austin Freeman connected on four 3-pointers en route to 23 points Monday for No. 21 Georgetown, which bested Tulane 69-53.

Jason Clark contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds and Vee Sanford chipped in 10 points off the bench for the Hoyas (2-0), who built on their season-opening win over Old Dominion Friday.

Georgetown put the game away early, going on a 14-1 run capped by one of Freeman's 3-pointers to put the Hoyas up 29-9 with nearly 7 1/2 minutes to play in the half.

Tulane (1-1) got 22 points and nine rebounds from Kris Richard. Jordan Callahan added nine points and six assists in the loss.
