WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., Nov. 14 (UPI) -- E'Twaun Moore collected 16 points and No. 8 Purdue went 13-of-28 from 3-point territory Sunday in its 76-40 win over Howard.
D.J. Byrd and John Hart each connected on four 3-pointers and ended with 12 points in the season-opening victory for Purdue.

JaJuan Johnson chipped in with 10 points and 12 rebounds as the Boilermakers won without forward Robbie Hummel, who will miss the entire season after suffering a torn knee ligament in October.
Howard (1-1) got 10 points and nine rebounds from Alphonso Leary.
