NBA: Oklahoma City 110, Portland 108

OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant scored seven of his 34 points in the final 2:42 Friday and the Oklahoma City Thunder survived to nip Portland 110-108.

The Thunder trailed by nine early in the fourth quarter but Durant and Russell Westbrook rallied them to their second straight win. Those two combined for 70 points while making 25-of-43 shots.

Durant put Oklahoma City in front for good at 101-100 on a jumper with 2:42 to go but the Thunder had only a one-point advantage when Durant went to the line with 12 seconds remaining.

He made the first foul shot, but missed the second one. After a time out, Portland went to Rudy Fernandez for a 3-point attempt and a potential victory but Fernandez missed with 5 seconds to go and Westbrook grabbed the last of his seven rebounds to clinch the victory.

Westbrook had 36 points while Nenad Krstic, Serge Ibaka and James Harden all scored 12.

Portland was paced by Brandon Roy with 24 points.
