TUSCALOOSA, Ala., Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Julio Jones's 56-yard touchdown run in the third quarter Saturday sparked No. 12 Alabama to a 30-10 victory over No. 17 Mississippi State.
Jones's long score shortly after halftime and broke the game open, extending the Crimson Tide's lead to 21-3.
Greg McElroy completed 12-of-18 passes for 227 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, and Mark Ingram ran 18 times for 53 yards and caught two passes for 77 yards and a score for Alabama (8-2, 5-2).
Marquis Maze hauled down five passes for 88 yards and a touchdown, and Jones made three catches for 41 yards to go with his TD run.
Chris Relf was limited to 70 yards passing and was intercepted once for the Bulldogs (7-3, 3-3). He was pulled in favor of Tyler Russell, who went 4-for-7 for 80 yards and a touchdown in the loss.
