NBA: Portland 100, Detroit 78

PORTLAND, Ore., Nov. 10 (UPI) -- LaMarcus Aldridge scored 19 points and had 17 rebounds Tuesday to lead the Portland Trail Blazers past the Detroit Pistons 100-78.

Rudy Fernandez scored 13 points off the bench and Brandon Roy added 11 in the romp, which was Portland's second consecutive victory.

Rodney Stuckey led Detroit with 17 points. Austin Daye chipped in 15 plus eight rebounds.

The loss ended a welcome two-game winning streak for the Pistons, who had lost their first five games of the season.

The Pistons shot 42.5 percent from the field and struggled to a 10-of-18 total from the free-throw line. Portland outscored Detroit in the fourth quarter 26-15 with help from an 8-0 run midway through the period.
