GLENDALE, Ariz., Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Mark Letestu notched a shootout goal Saturday, completing a rally that carried the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 4-3 victory over Phoenix.
Letestu's first career shootout try was a wrist shot that eluded Ilya Bryzgalov and handed the Penguins just their second win in seven games.
Pittsburgh overcame 2-0 and 3-2 deficits to force the overtime and shootout. Chris Kunitz netted the equalizer on a power play with only 34 seconds remaining for the Penguins.
Brent Johnson relieved a shaky Marc-Andre Fleury in the first period and turned away 22-of-23 shots to earn the win.
Phoenix got a goal and an assist by Wojtek Wolski and Bryzgalov let in three goals on 36 shots in regulation time.
