NHL: Buffalo 3, Toronto 2 (SO)

TORONTO, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Tyler Ennis bested Jean-Sebastien Giguere in the fifth round of a shootout Saturday, handing the Buffalo Sabres a 3-2 decision over Toronto.

Ennis's shootout winner completed a Sabres comeback that saw Jochen Hecht net the equalizer and force an overtime with only 13.1 seconds left in regulation.

Buffalo also got a goal from Derek Roy. Jhonas Enroth -- starting in net for the injured Ryan Miller -- made 23 saves in notching his first win of the year and breaking the Sabres' five-game losing streak.

The Maple Leafs got goals from Mikhail Grabovski and Nikolai Kulemin in the setback, their eighth loss in nine games.

Giguere ended up making 29 saves on 31 shots.
