COL FB: North Carolina 37, Fla. State 35

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Casey Barth's 24-yard field goal with 59 seconds to go Saturday handed North Carolina a 37-35 upset victory over No. 24 Florida State.

The Seminoles had a chance for one last shot following the kick and moved into scoring position. But Dustin Hopkins couldn't convert a 40-yard field goal try, sending it wide right as time ran out.
