SUNRISE, Fla., Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Goals by Dustin Byfuglien and Niclas Bergfors 71 seconds apart in the third period Wednesday rallied the Atlanta Thrashers to a 4-3 decision over Florida.
The Thrashers have earned at least a point in five straight games, going 3-0-2.
Florida took a 3-2 lead 4:31 into the third period on Bryan Allen's first goal of the season, a slapshot that beat Chris Mason. Byfuglien tied it at the 9:59 mark and Bergfors produced the game-winner with his fourth goal of the season.
Mason had to make 52 saves to produce the win.
Fredrik Modin scored twice for Atlanta, tying the game at 1-1 with 6 seconds left in the first period and then giving the Thrashers a 2-1 lead 9:51 into the second.
Tomas Vokoun allowed all four Atlanta goals on 23 shots.
Atlanta defenseman Brent Sopel played in the 600th game of his NHL career.
