NHL: Philadelphia 3, Pittsburgh 2

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Claude Giroux scored two of Philadelphia's three unanswered goals over the final two periods Friday, leading the Flyers to a 3-2 decision over Pittsburgh.

Philadelphia has won back-to-back games for the first time this season.

Giroux scored shorthanded 5:20 into the second, creating a 1-1 tie, and Daniel Carcillo tipped in a shot with 6:26 left in the period to put the Flyers in front.

Giroux added a power-play goal midway through the third, giving him six for the season.

Tyler Kennedy brought the Penguins within one with 45 seconds to go in regulation, but could not get another one past Sergei Bobrovsky.

The Flyers and Penguins have already met three times this season with Philadelphia winning twice.

Bobrovsky made 26 saves and Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 21-of-24 shots in the loss.
