NHL: Vancouver 4, Colorado 3 (OT)

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Mason Raymond scored an unassisted goal off a faceoff in overtime Tuesday to give the Vancouver Canucks a 4-3 win over Colorado.

Raymond got the puck off the draw in the Avalanche zone, took a few quick strides and flipped a wrist shot past goaltender Peter Budaj for the victory just 28 seconds into the extra period.

Jeff Tambellini, Peter Schaefer and Ryan Kesler also scored for the Canucks, who finished their October schedule with a 4-3-2 record. Roberto Luongo allowed three goals on 39 shots in the victory.

Budaj finished with 27 saves. David Jones, Daniel Winnik and Matt Duchene scored for the Avalanche, who are winless in their last three games.

The two teams each had one goal in each period of regulation. Colorado's Duchene scored at 18:27 of the third period to send the game into overtime.
