INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- The Indianapolis Colts moved to solidify their roster Tuesday, announcing the signing of punter Jeremy Kapinos and defensive back Chip Vaughn.

The moves follow the suspension of punter Pat McAfee and season-ending injury to tight end Dallas Clark.

Kapinos, a fourth-year pro, previously played for Green Bay and the New York Jets. He averaged 43.8 yards on 66 punts for the Packers last year.

Vaughn, a second-year player, was with New Orleans last year but didn't make it into a game. He was with Philadelphia's practice squad until being released Sept. 21.

McAfee went on the reserve/club suspension list following his arrest for public intoxication.

Clark injured his wrist Oct. 17 against Washington and is now on injured reserve.
